BAILS TALES - NOVEMBER - "BAIL SNAIL"

With November just beginning there is a sense of urgency about finishing the year well, there is nothing snail like in our office and the team is under full steam. We have had an amazing year and have some pretty awesome plans mapped out for 2013. Last month saw BAIL strongly represented at this year's ANZCoS conference in Melbourne. Claire Freeman, the recipient of the BAIL Scholarship, presented her health science (rehab) thesis results for 2010/11. Claire also represented the End User Committee and presented an outstanding poster on the consultation process. Anne Sinnott presented a body of work undertaken with Prof Alastair Rothwell and Dr Jennifer Dunn involved with upper limb surgery for tetraplegia. In addition two of our BAIL peers Maria van den Heuvel and Richard Smaill presented their respective masters and PHD projects. We are very proud to have had such a strong representation and congratulate all our team on their awesome work.

Thursday 6th December has been set for our final Peer Group meeting (3.30pm) and end of year function (4.45pm). Invitations will be out soon however we are keen to have it flagged in your calendar which fills up swiftly at this time of the year.

Well, we are finishing 2012 strongly at BAIL and hope you are too.
