Second Research Fellow for BAIL
It is with great pleasure we introduce Johnny Bourke who is newly appointed as a BAIL Research Fellow, joining Carolyn Beaver who was appointed in 2012.
Johnny will embark upon his PhD studies with funding generously and collaboratively awarded by the Ministry of Social Development, Canterbury Community Trust and Rotary. We are extremely grateful to our funders for their commitment to this major undertaking.
Johnny's study will involve looking at issues people with mobility impairments faced at the time of the Christchurch earthquakes and he will be supervised by senior researchers from the Universities of Canterbury and Otago. Johnny is not new to BAIL and is the Chair of our End User Research Consultation Committee.
You can find out more about both Johnny and Carolyn on our Consultation page.
