Johnny to work with World Health Organisation

Dr Johnny Bourke has been invited to be consumer representative on the WHO Rehabilitation Competency Framework Working Group.  The aim of the framework is to enable competency-based evaluation and planning, provide a strong public statement about what rehabilitation encompasses and promote unity among rehabilitation disciplines and specialisations through language and structure.  We are delighted that Johnny’s work is being recognised globally and congratulate him on his appointment.   This is a tremendous opportunity for interdisciplinary cooperation with allies from around in order to provide the best rehabilitation practices possible across broad and challenging situations.  Johnny will travel to Geneva, Switzerland in July for a face-to-face meeting with the group.
